The real KR-85 ADF System does not support inputting decimals into the radio, but we have included some additional logic to circumnavigate this limitation. In our PA-38 Tomahawk (MSFS), once a whole ADF frequency has been entered into the ADF radio, the radio will then alternate between whole and decimal places until it finds an active frequency. For example, if an NDB has a frequency of 402.5, enter ‘402’ in the ADF radio and the radio will then alternate decimal places automatically until it finds the active 402.5 frequency. Once an active frequency has been found, the direction to the NDB will be indicated by the ADF indicator.
