Bugs:

Bugs:

1. Fixed an issue where the new aircraft wash function was not enabled correctly, preventing the WASH AIRCRAFT button from clearing the accumulated dirt effects.

3. Fixed an issue where insect splatter was not displaying correctly on the windshield when viewed from the cockpit interior.

New Feature:

1. Added dynamic exterior dirt effects based on the aircraft’s operating environment and surface conditions. The Learjet can now accumulate multiple layers of contamination, including dust, standard dirt, tar, and insects.


2. Added our TrueSim custom binding software directly to the EFB, allowing keyboard and joystick buttons to be assigned to custom Learjet controls, including switches, knobs, levers, and other button-based functions. The previous external binding application is no longer required.


Updates:

1. Pre-flight covers and equipment can now be replaced at any time. After removing items such as the engine covers, pitot covers, and wheel chocks during the walk-around, they can now be reinstalled before departure or after completing the flight.


Bugs:

1. Fixed an issue from the last update where Asobo’s built-in preset update tool removed required configuration data for the long tip tanks. This data controls the long tip tank fuel capacity and tip tank shape. Because of this, the aircraft weight remained correct, but the long tip tanks could no longer be loaded with the correct fuel amount. We will report this issue to Asobo so they are aware of the bug.


2. Fixed an issue where the custom fuel truck windshield texture was not displaying correctly.

Flight Dynamics:

1. Adjusted the N1-to-thrust curve for improved low-end ground handling and taxi behavior. The engine thrust curve was fine-tuned directly instead of changing the overall thrust scalar, allowing the aircraft to stay more stable at idle and require a more realistic increase from idle N1 before it begins rolling. Full-power thrust targets remain calibrated, including approximately 3,500 lbs of thrust at sea level on a standard day and approximately 755 lbs at 41,000 feet on a standard day.


UPDATES:

1. The Dee Howard TR-4000 thrust reverser system has received a major realism upgrade.


The Lear 35A now uses the modern MSFS hydraulic system for thrust reverser operation, along with our custom Flysimware TrueSim WASM throttle logic. This brings the system much closer to the real aircraft by combining actual hydraulic pressure, hydraulic valves, accumulator behavior, electrical circuit logic, and throttle lever lockout behavior.


Previously, the reversers were still active at the simulator level, so we had to use custom logic to force reverse thrust back to zero whenever the system was not armed. This worked reasonably well with mouse control, but users with hardware throttles could still command reverse thrust even when the TR switches were off. That is no longer possible.


The thrust reverser switches now control the real hydraulic valve behavior. If the reversers are not armed, if hydraulic pressure is not available, or if the required electrical circuits are not powered, the reversers cannot deploy. Our TrueSim throttle logic now also controls whether the throttle levers are allowed to enter the reverse range. This means the aircraft no longer fights hardware input after the fact. Instead, the system now decides whether reverse is allowed before the command is accepted.


This is a major improvement because the real aircraft does not allow the throttle levers to move into reverse unless the thrust reverser system is properly armed and available. We now simulate that behavior. If the TR system is off, not armed, has lost hydraulic pressure, or has lost the required TR power/control circuit logic, the throttle levers are locked out of the reverse range.


The electrical behavior has also been improved. TR PWR now controls hydraulic valve power, TR CTRL controls the arming and deployment logic, and TR CONT controls the continuous monitoring and annunciator light circuit. Each circuit now affects the reverser system based on what it actually controls.


The reverser indication logic has also been improved. The unlock and deploy lights now respond to actual hydraulic pressure conditions, including proper test-position behavior. This means the annunciators are now tied much more closely to the real hydraulic and electrical state of the system instead of simple switch-only logic.


The system now includes a dedicated thrust reverser accumulator as well. This allows the reverser system to retain enough stored hydraulic pressure for one additional complete reverser cycle if normal hydraulic pressure is lost, just like the real system is designed to do.


We also discovered some limitations in the current MSFS modern hydraulic actuator behavior when valves close after deployment. With the new TrueSim WASM throttle logic, we were able to work around those limitations and achieve the correct user-side behavior. From the pilot’s perspective, the system now works as intended: if the Dee Howard TR-4000 reversers are not armed and hydraulically/electrically available, they will not deploy and the throttle levers will not enter the reverse range, even with hardware reverse controls.


This brings the Lear 35A thrust reverser system to a much higher level of realism and removes the previous hardware override issue entirely.


2. Updated the headset textures so the headset is no longer overly reflective and now has a more realistic appearance.


3. Updated the rear ground object LODs, including the GPU and fuel truck.


4. Removed the exterior texture canning effect for now. This effect was intended to add subtle surface variation, but in MSFS 2024 it could appear extremely exaggerated under certain lighting conditions. The aircraft exterior should now look much cleaner and no longer show the overly distorted surface effect.


BUGS:

1. Fixed an issue where the parking brake could work inconsistently with the new modern hydraulic system. The parking brake logic has been corrected and now uses the actual hydraulic brake actuator pressure, so it will only operate when proper brake hydraulic pressure is available.


2. Fixed the GTN 650 small knob right-click function so it now correctly swaps focus between the NAV and COM fields.


3. Fixed an issue on the EFB pneumatic page where the left and right nacelle heat valve indicators were reversed. The left nacelle switch now rotates the left valve indicator, and the right nacelle switch now rotates the right valve indicator.


REPORTED BUGS

1. We have reported the Learjet exterior camera shadow issue to Asobo, where the aircraft shadow may be missing in the exterior view. Asobo has confirmed this is a simulator-side bug and will be fixing it in a future update. As a temporary workaround, users can enable Ray Traced Shadows in the graphics settings, which should restore the aircraft shadow until the simulator fix is released.

Bugs:

1. Mystery Master Warning Blinking During Cruise

- Fixed a mystery master warning blinking during cruise.

- The issue was caused by the right tip tank getting below 60 gallons when it should have been assigned to the left wing tank.

- This has now been corrected.

- When low fuel is triggered for either the left wing tank or right wing tank, the master warning light will blink and the annunciator panel will now also display a low fuel caution.


2. Pitch Trim Barrel Increment Behavior

- Fixed pitch trim barrel behavior when using the pilot’s yoke with the mouse.

- Previously, the trim moved in large increments.

- The trim now adjusts smoothly in 0.02 increments while holding the control up or down.


3. GTN Knob Click Function

- Fixed an issue with the GTN 650/650Xi and 750/750Xi small knob (bottom right).

- Click function was not responding.

- This has now been corrected.


4. Pilot and Copilot Altimeter Backup Power

- Updated the pilot and copilot altimeters to support backup battery power.

- The altimeters now remain powered when the backup battery is placed in Standby or Emergency.


5. Gear Panel Test Function

- Fixed the gear panel test button behavior.

- The test now correctly illuminates unsafe and locked down lights and triggers audio.

- This now works both on the ground and in the air, with gear up or down.

Bugs:

1. Reverse Thrust Forward Movement


- Fixed reverse thrust behavior when using axis control — aircraft will no longer move forward at low reverse input.


- Note: This is currently a limitation in MSFS 2024. We have reported the issue to Asobo. At low reverse input (below ~50%), reverse thrust has little to no effect. Reverse deceleration becomes noticeable above ~50%, with stronger effect typically above ~65–70%.


2. Reverser Bucket Deployment Logic


- Updated reverser bucket logic to correct unintended behavior caused by previous workaround.


- Due to current MSFS 2024 limitations, the reverser system cannot yet properly use the hydraulic system. Asobo is actively working on a fix.


- Previous logic caused the buckets to partially deploy based on throttle axis input. This has been corrected so that the buckets now operate as intended — either fully open or fully closed.


3. Autopilot ALT SEL / ALT HOLD / Pitch Logic


- Fixed issue where ALT SEL would not properly capture selected altitude in GPS / NAV modes.


- Fixed interaction between ALT SEL and ALT HOLD — selecting one will now correctly cancel the other, ensuring they cannot be active at the same time.


- Fixed pitch barrel behavior so vertical modes (ALT HOLD / VS / FLC) now disengage immediately on input, followed by smooth pitch adjustment while holding the control.

5. Fixed cockpit curtain door animation on LOD1  

   - The cockpit curtain door was not animating correctly on LOD1 when viewed from the exterior

6. Fixed seatbelt and no-smoking chime operating without electrical power  

   - The chime was playing even with no electrical power due to the galley circuit having zero wattage assigned  

   - The galley circuit has been corrected  

   - The chime will now only operate when the main battery switches are on

Bugs:

1. Fixed Emergency Attitude Gyro losing power when the AC bus was offline by adding a dedicated backup gyro circuit for proper independent operation.

2. Fixed missing Emergency Gyro flag behavior when the backup gyro loses power.

3. Fixed fuel flow needles remaining active during a black cockpit by re-tying them to the fuel quantity instrumentation circuit.

4. Fixed spoilerons not functioning. Due to a simulator limitation, spoilerons now operate in all flap positions. In the real aircraft, spoilerons require the flaps to be fully down; however, this condition can no longer be reliably enforced.

5. Fixed landing light switch linkage issue caused by a small typo where one switch was incorrectly responding to the other.

6. Fixed pitot heat switches so they can be operated independently. Due to a simulator limitation, there is only a single physical pitot system; however, both switches are now correctly wired to their respective key events and bindings will activate both, allowing realistic operation while preserving correct under-the-hood behavior.


Future Updates:

1. Investigate and correct flap movement occurring without hydraulic pressure. Currently, flaps can move slowly even with no hydraulic pressure available. This has been officially reported to Asobo and will be resolved once the simulator behavior is corrected.

2. Spoileron flap-position interlock restoration. The real aircraft requires flaps fully down for spoileron operation. This limitation has been officially reported to Asobo and will be re-implemented once the simulator regression is fixed.

Updates:

1. Default MSFS bindings now work properly for Nav, Strobe, Beacon, and Recognition lights, plus the 3-way Taxi/Landing light switches. Mouse control still works normally; default bindings may place the 3-way switch in an intermediate position depending on which light is toggled.

2. Fuel jettison VFX is now fully working again. We were already aware the effect wasn’t functioning (even though it was modeled), and we were waiting on feedback from Asobo. They identified the cause as a VisualEffectLibs folder structure naming issue. Asobo is adding a build-time check in SU5 so this type of problem is reported to developers and can’t silently happen again.

3. The anti-skid switch now supports default MSFS bindings. Users may operate the switch using either the mouse or a hardware binding, and both methods work correctly.

4. Improvements have been made to nacelle and nose ice melting behavior. Ice accumulation now builds more gradually, while melting behavior has been tuned for more realistic, progressive ice shedding rather than an instant clear.


Future Updates:

1. Implement accurate duct leak emergency procedure, including emergency pressurization capability.


Bugs:

1. GNS430 night lighting backlight/emissive was not turning on at night (display worked during the day only). This has been fixed.

2. The anti-skid circuit breaker was not correctly disabling the system when pulled. This has now been fixed.

3. Recognition light bulb visibility during daytime conditions has been improved. The light was functioning correctly, but the bulb illumination was difficult to see; this has been corrected.

4. Pilot Light Panel and Co-Pilot Light Panel camera views were pointing in the wrong direction due to earlier camera changes. These camera views have now been corrected.

5. EFB checklists have been reviewed, verified, and corrected to better align with real-world procedures and aircraft configuration.

6. The EMER BAT / STBY battery switch logic was incorrect and was powering all emergency circuits regardless of switch position. This was traced to an issue with bus logic and has now been fixed.

1. Added two new Cargo “Career” presets (duplicated from the standard Cargo presets) intended specifically for Career Mode. For Free Flight, continue using the regular Cargo presets that do not include “Career” in the name.

   - Difference: The standard Cargo presets allow loading a passenger in the jump seat. The Cargo “Career” presets do not allow a passenger in the jump seat (cargo-only).

2. Updated DME and HSI DME circuitry for improved accuracy and consistency:

   - DME Unit 1 (Pilot side) is powered by:

     - **DME 1** circuit breaker (main bus)

     - **Primary DME** backup circuit (AC bus)

   - DME Unit 2 (Copilot side) is powered by:

     - **Secondary DME** circuit breaker (right essential bus)

     - **Secondary DME** backup circuit (AC bus)

   - These circuits also properly power the HSI DME digital display window (small LCD in the upper-left corner of each HSI).


Bugs:

1. Fixed left and right Engine ICE annunciator lights not illuminating when the nacelle heat switches were ON near idle thrust.

   - Cause: Turbine engine bleed air output at idle was too low to trigger proper annunciator behavior.

   - Fix: Adjusted turbine engine bleed air values so the Engine ICE lights correctly illuminate at idle with nacelle heat ON.

   - Note: This is now operating realistically — on the Learjet 35, with nacelle heat ON, Engine ICE lights may remain illuminated at low RPM due to insufficient bleed air pressure and will extinguish once thrust is increased.

2. Medevac Career patient behavior adjustments and notes:

   - Fixed an issue where the Medevac patient could sometimes appear standing.

   - Known Career Mode limitation: If you load directly into the flight, the patient will not appear outside of Career Mode. The nurse and doctors will still appear normally.

   - Note: On apron load, the nurse and doctors may appear immediately, and you can still change their weights (set to zero or add weight) to update their visibility. The patient will still not appear outside of Career Mode.

   - Note: Avoid changing aircraft while already on the apron using Dev Mode; doing so can prevent the patient from appearing.

3. Fixed Passenger preset seat 3 character clipping where certain characters (bushy hair / tall heads) could poke through the cabin ceiling. Passengers are now slightly re-positioned/tilted to prevent head clipping; you may notice minor foot intersection with the floor as a tradeoff.

4. Fixed Pilot and Copilot HSI DME digital readout (small LCD window at the top-left of the HSI) not displaying correctly.

4. Fixed an issue where pulling the left or right landing/taxi circuit breaker did not fully remove power from both the taxi and landing lights on that side.

5. Fixed EFB Utilities page cabin door Open/Close button blue highlighting not reflecting the actual door state (now only highlights at fully open or fully closed).

6. Fixed pre-flight character collision allowing the user to walk through the wings, tip tanks, fuselage, and tail surfaces.

7. Fixed the Medevac and Passenger presets where the luggage loading slider could exceed the station’s maximum weight (the sim was previously ignoring the max weight limit; it now clamps correctly).

1. Stall Warning Annunciator Logic Fixed (Left/Right Stall): Corrected the stall warning “reminder” annunciator behavior to match the real aircraft. The annunciators are only powered when the MAIN batteries are ON. With MAIN batteries ON, each stall warning annunciator will illuminate when its corresponding stall warning switch is OFF, and will extinguish when that switch is turned ON. With MAIN batteries OFF, the annunciators remain OFF regardless of switch position. The emergency/backup battery is not included in this logic. Note: The stall warning switches are powered from the hot battery bus—leaving either stall warning switch ON while the MAIN batteries are OFF can drain the batteries over time.

1. Exterior oil-canning update (MSFS 2024): The exterior skin oil-canning effect was visually too strong in MSFS 2024, so it has been reduced to almost nothing for now (effectively removed). We’ll revisit and fine-tune the oil-canning with our upcoming spring texture update.



Bugs:

1. Interior environmental bleed fixed (fog/mist no longer clips into the cockpit/cabin near the floor).

2. Stall warning annunciator logic fixed (Left/Right Stall): These lights are powered from the hot battery bus, so they now behave like the real aircraft “reminder” system. If the main batteries are OFF and the stall warning switches are left ON, the annunciators will illuminate to warn they were left on (preventing unintended battery drain). If any main battery is turned ON while the stall warning switches are OFF, the annunciators will illuminate to alert that the stall warning system is OFF and needs to be enabled. When the main batteries are ON and the stall warning switches are ON, the annunciators remain OFF, indicating normal operation. The emergency/backup battery is not included in this logic.

3. GNS 430 display fit fixed (the screen/page now fits correctly on the LCD).

4. GNS 530 / 430 knob & audio control fixes:

   - Fixed knob animations affecting the opposite unit (some 530/430 knobs were animating each other).

   - Corrected the 430 audio/volume knobs: removed the incorrect COM 1/COM 2 assignment and moved them to the proper COM 2/NAV 2 mapping.

5. Engine hours logic fixed (save-state compatibility): Engine hours will no longer start accumulating while the aircraft is on the ground. The timer now begins only when the squat switch indicates the aircraft is off the ground (weight off wheels), matching the real aircraft’s squat-switch circuit behavior.

6. Backup attitude indicator pitch bar restored: During the previous emergency/backup battery lighting update (moving the altimeters and backup attitude instrument lighting to the backup battery), the backup attitude indicator pitch bar was accidentally broken and became completely invisible in-sim. This has now been fixed.

New Features:

1. Improved Pre-Flight Entry and Exit Flow (Door Stays Open): When entering the aircraft from Pre-Flight (character mode) into the cockpit, and when exiting back out to Pre-Flight, the main door will now remain open for a more realistic walk-in and walk-out experience. This allows you to step inside with the door open, turn on the cabin lights immediately (powered by the hot battery, so you have light even before turning the aircraft battery ON), and then proceed to the cockpit naturally. For quick access back to the pilot seat, we recommend setting up a custom camera shortcut to your preferred pilot view, or using the default pilot-seat shortcut already available in the widget.

2. Custom Save State System (Temporary Replacement for the Built-In Save State): We have implemented our own custom Save State system to ensure aircraft settings reliably persist between sessions. The built-in MSFS 2024 Save State behavior is currently inconsistent (it could appear to work when reloading a flight within the same sim session, but would often fail to restore settings after fully exiting and restarting the simulator). Until Asobo resolves the underlying Save State issues, our custom system will handle saving and restoring the aircraft’s supported saved values, so you should see consistent behavior when leaving a flight, returning to Pre-Flight, and fully restarting MSFS 2024.


Updates:

1. Cold and Dark (Apron) Save State Expansion: landing/taxi light switch positions are now saved and restored when starting on the Apron (Cold and Dark). For runway/taxi/takeoff/approach and other “ready-to-go” scenarios, those flight files will continue to force their intended switch states so Save State will not interfere. We will be expanding Apron Save State support further over upcoming updates to cover more of the cockpit.

2. The cabin temperature gauge switch was added to save state.

3. Updated annunciator bulb visuals (Air Ignition, Starter, Gear Unsafe, Gear Down & Locked, Brake, Anti-Skid): bulbs are now darker when OFF, and significantly brighter when ON, tuned for good visibility in both daytime and nighttime.

4. Pilot and co-pilot digital alerter LCDs are now powered by Standby/Backup power (both Standby and Emergency positions) as well as their dedicated Right Nav Computer circuit.

5. EFB Fuel Computer: output/results area has been made larger and clearer for easier readability.

6. Avionics lighting integration: TDS GTNxi 750/650 units, PMS GTN 750/650, GNS 530/430, and the transponder bezel backlighting are now all tied to avionics power (backlighting will only illuminate when avionics are powered).

7. Working Title GNS 530 update for MSFS 2024 compatibility: updated to the MSFS 2024 version to ensure proper integration and prevent compatibility issues that can occur when using older 2020-era avionics packages. This also enables newer MSFS 2024 avionics features and improvements that were not available in the 2020 version.

8. Windshields and windows updated for MSFS 2024: bug (insect) splatter effects added/updated, and rain effects corrected/updated for the MSFS 2024 windshield rain system.

9. Exterior rain/wet effects enabled across the airframe using ClearCoat materials (airframe surfaces now properly receive rain/wet effects in MSFS 2024).

10. Custom fuel truck updated for MSFS 2024: our custom SimObject fuel truck now also supports icing effects.

11. Pilot and co-pilot altimeters updated for backup power: both altimeters (including backlighting) are now powered by the main batteries and will remain operational on backup battery power when using Standby or Emergency electrical positions.


Bugs:

1. Door sound effects have been corrected: door opening/closing and latch sounds are now working properly.

2. TDS GTN 650 bezel backlighting has been corrected (it no longer remains lit with the aircraft unpowered).

3. Fuel hose visibility bug corrected: a fuel hose could be seen when viewing the aircraft from very far external camera distances; this has now been fixed.

4. Battery electrical hum bug corrected: the battery hum audio could remain playing even when all electrical power was OFF; this has now been fixed.

Bugs:

5. Fixed: Landing gear hydraulic hoses were not animating correctly in MSFS 2024. The hose/bone animation has now been converted to standard keyframed animation to ensure reliable playback in MSFS 2024 (the prior IK helper-driven setup could fail due to changes in MSFS 2024 animation handling).

1. Added a new digitally-modeled cabin air temperature gauge (new 3D instrument) for improved cockpit realism.

1. Aircraft temperature simulation is now fully implemented (cabin/air temperature logic completed to drive accurate temperature behavior and indications).

2. Turbine temperature gauges (ITT) now include a small per-engine random offset again, so the engines no longer read perfectly identical temps. This feature was previously disabled after an Asobo update caused it to stop working, and it has now been re-enabled.

3. Wing + stab anti-ice temperature indication updated for improved realism (separate needle behavior/response so they don’t track as perfectly matched).

4. Windshield heat switch tooltip updated to display the current valve position (percent) when tooltips are enabled.


Bugs:

1. Fixed pilot + co-pilot heading card stepping/jumping during turns by adjusting the animation lag values.

2. Fixed missing autopilot and yaw damper sound effects (now plays correctly when engaged).

3. Fixed nav light bulbs remaining illuminated with no electrical power.

4. Fixed pilot seating position in the cockpit (raised and adjusted posture so the feet and body align correctly with the cockpit).

5. Updated both pilot and co-pilot circuit breaker animations (previously some breakers were not animating). Note: SPARE breakers and the left/right AUX BUS breakers are intentionally non-animated (marked inop / unused).
