v4.5.0 - 2026/08/26

- Added Flight Plan, using a SimBrief Pilot ID to validate and import the latest Operational Flight Plan. The Flight Briefing includes operational weight, fuel, wind, runway, procedure, timing, and route information, with a direct link to the SimBrief OFP.
- Added a Flight Overview that presents the imported route, important waypoints, step climbs, planned distance, estimated time remaining, and live route progress. Long route strings now remain contained in a themed scroll area.
- Added `Always Make Plan Active`, allowing a downloaded SimBrief plan to populate the Route Monitor, cruise level, Flight Telemetry altitude profile, METAR departure lookup, and relevant Flight Event logic. Manual routes remain available when a plan is not active.
- Added SimBrief-aware planned altitude guidance to Flight Telemetry, including key cruise and step-climb waypoints, and improved live route-progress and estimated-time calculations near arrival.
- Added Flight Events triggers for estimated flight time remaining, throttle position, and route-linked conditions, with clear unavailable-state badges when a required route or SimBrief plan is not active.
- Added Full-edition Beastie Server Mode. A dedicated simulator-connected Beastie can broadcast its selected telemetry to another Beastie on the local network, using a configurable server port, copyable client address, and local discovery. Server Mode intentionally suspends playback, events, METAR/cache activity, and Flight Plan data while preserving simulator telemetry and near-ground high-speed polling.
- Added Beastie Server client connection as provider with auto-discovery on LAN feature.
- Added `ADF-2` receiver support alongside `COM-2` and `ADF-1`, with independently retained frequencies and consistent receiver-aware labels throughout the app and SimInspector.
- Improved stream connection handling, source-edit safety, media-state status reporting, and Player Deck status colours for detected frequencies, stream connection attempts, confirmed media, and test playback.
- Corrected saved source edits so Stations, Route Radio, and Cabin Moods clear their temporary frequency-detection guard on Save; tuning a saved source can no longer enter Halt Mode from a stale edit state.
- Corrected source-edit and test-playback hand-offs across Stations, Route Radio, and Cabin Moods. Changing source mode, opening another editor, searching for a source, or leaving an unsaved edit now cleanly stops the relevant test and restores the correct editable state.
- Improved stream recovery after late or interrupted connections. Frequency detection remains visible while a stream is connecting, retries use clear attempt feedback, and a recovered stream returns to normal monitoring without an unnecessary music transition or tuning interruption.
- Corrected frequency handling for Windows regional formats: radio entries and detected values now accept either a decimal point or decimal comma.
- Added duplicate-frequency protection across Stations, Route Radio, and Cabin Moods. Conflicting assignments are visibly flagged and frequency detection honours the first matching source.
- Adapted Flight Plan and Route Monitor synchronisation: downloading an active SimBrief plan now overrides the selected manual route, manual route changes clear incompatible plan data, and passive monitors refresh consistently across tabs.
- Improved SimBrief-based route-progress and estimated-time calculations, particularly near arrival.
- Improved Flight Telemetry planned-profile rendering, including SimBrief data, altitude rulers, level guides, cruise and approach cues, waypoint/step labels, route-change resets, and pre-takeoff recording state.
- Added the full-edition Pink Flamingo theme, compact Flight Telemetry and Flight Events tab icons, and refreshed frequency, cruise, and approach controls for a denser operational layout.

- Added Flight Telemetry: live altitude, speed, wind, magnetic heading, vertical speed, touchdown rate, route monitor, copyable position, and a route-linked true-altitude profile.

- Added configurable 10-30 Hz near-ground polling, independent of the telemetry display.

- Added Flight Event triggers for Touchdown, Magnetic Heading, Vertical Speed, Fuel Quantity, and Squawk Code.

• Editing an active playback source will now invoke Halt mode automatically to improve user experience.
• Media sources can now be edited and saved on the fly without the need to disrupt active playback in progress.

- Improved prompting for edited sources that haven’t been saved.

- Improved prompting to inform if Halt mode is active and pilots wish to resume frequency detection.

- Reordered Navigation to keep all sound-generating modes together.

- Cruise altitude is now enforced at least 1,000 ft above Approach altitude to prevent logic trapping for Route Radio or Flight Events.

- New theme: Pink Flamingo.

- New restore controls for default Flight Events (see ‘Restoring a profile’)

- New Sound Library located in the ‘FEP’ folder
