Fly the Line features in built logging tools that log the app's behaviour locally on your PC and can be exported as a neat and tidy Support Package that can be sent to Just Flight support for further troubleshooting. The support package includes a log of every behaviour of the app, and can be particularly useful for troubleshooting unexpected flight detection or tracking behaviour.
When raising a ticket with just Flight Support, one of our Support Team may ask you to generate a support package and link it to the ticket. This can be done via the following method:
1. Launch the Fly the Line app
2. Select the 'Support' button from the Main Menu
3. Select the 'Generate Support Package' button at the bottom of the 'Help and Support' page
4. A Windows Explorer window will open at the Fly the Line file directory. A compressed .zip folder named "FlytheLine_SupportPackage" should have been generated in the list with a file size of approximately 2mb.
5. Attach the FlytheLine_SupportPackage.zip folder to your next reply to the Just Flight Support ticket and our support team will then be in the best position to be able to assist with further troubleshooting.
Note 1: A log.txt file can be generated on its own by clicking the paper icon on the Settings page of the Fly the Line app.
Note 2: The 'Logging' option must be enabled on the Fly the Line Settings page in order for the log.txt to be populated with output from the app.
