The F28 Professional features 4K cockpit textures as standard for a balance of visual fidelity and FPS/performance. For users who have a graphics card with a large amount of VRAM, we are also providing some alternative 8K cockpit textures to further increase the texture clarity within the cockpit.

IMPORTANT! We only recommend installing the 8K textures if you have a graphics card with 12GB of VRAM or greater. 

The 8K textures are provided in their own dedicated community package, allowing them to be added/removed from the Community folder without affecting the files in the F28's main package. To install the 8K texture package, please click on the download link below of the simulator you wish to install the texture into, and extract the "justflight-aircraft-f28_8K" folder into the respective Community folder.

Note 1: MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024 use different texture file formats; therefore, it is important to only use the 8K MSFS 2020 textures in MSFS 2020, and the 8K MSFS 2024 textures in MSFS 2024. Using the incorrect textures for the simulator can cause texture issues within the simulator.

Note 2: To revert back to the default 4K textures, simply remove the "justflight-aircraft-f28_8K" folder from the respective Community folder.
